A Manifesto For the People on the Bottom Rung

MetLife Foundation's mission is to find organizations that work to help those in poverty learn how to pull themselves above the poverty line and stay there. Our goal was not to shy away from the issue, not to beat the chest of MetLife and pretend the problem is all but solved, but speak for the people who might not be able to speak for themselves.

The manifesto was to run as a full page ad in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Here are the final choices.
